Gracefield Annual Weekend Retreat

September 6th - 8th 2024

Gracefield Camp and Retreat Centre

Quiet Reflection, Study, Song, Worship, Fellowship and Fun

The Gracefield congregational retreat is an opportunity for rest and reflection and a wonderful way to begin a new church year with others from St. Andrew's. It is a weekend for relaxing, with devotions and plenty of time for outdoor activities such as swimming, canoeing, and hiking. There will be much eating, laughing, and game playing in a space where it is easy to worship God. Whether you are newer to the church, or have been attending for years, come and be a part of this event.

The outdoor worship service is often a highlight of the weekend. Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, with our church community, we profoundly sense the Spirit’s presence. Everyone is invited to take part in leading the service this year. You might bring an instrument, prepare a drama, write a prayer, or lead a song or reflection. The theme of “Even the stones will shout” (Luke 19:40) reminds us that all of creation proclaims God’s glory. Consider how you can share your gifts in worship.
