The Rev. Dr. Karen Dimock
Minister
Karen Dimock was called to be the Minister at St. Andrew's in November of 2014. Prior to entering the ministry, Karen’s background was in the sciences and she has always had a passion for discovering the world in which we live, and our own place and calling in it. If you ask her what she enjoys most in her ministry, Karen will tell you it is the people and journeying together in faith and in Christ. Karen received her M.Div. from Knox College, University of Toronto in 2008 and served as Minister at Morningside-High Park Presbyterian Church in West Toronto for six years before coming to St. Andrew's. She is married to Hugh, they have three children and two dogs. kd@standrewsottawa.ca
Reverend Heather Paton
Christian Education Co-ordinator
Heather comes to St. Andrew's with over twenty years of experience developing and implementing Christian Education programming in congregations, summer camps and international settings. She is most passionate about outdoor ministry, Canada Youth and having fun with little kids. She lives with her partner, two young children and their Granny.
Matthew Larkin
Custodian for Music
Matthew Larkin joined St. Andrew’s as interim Custodian for Music in August 2021. A church musician with over thirty years of professional experience, he is known internationally as a recitalist, recording artist, and conductor. He is the founding director of Caelis Academy Ensemble, and has worked with choirs of all shapes and sizes throughout Canada and beyond. Matthew is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian College of Organists, and sits on its Examination Committee. His Christian formation was through the gateway of liturgy, and he believes that music has tremendous potential to encourage, to enliven, and to heal.

Dominique
Handbell Director
Dominique Moreau has been the director of the St. Andrew's Ringers since 2022, after discovering bell ringing through the very same ensemble. As an educator, he teaches music in the public school system as well as the Ottawa Youth Orchestra. He also performs regulalry as a percussionist with various ensembles such as the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and as a conductor with his school band and other local groups.
Vivian
Office Administrator
Vivian joined St. Andrew’s in December of 2017. Educated in the life sciences and business, she has an eclectic work experience encompassing management, teaching and administration in the private and not-for-profit sectors. She enjoys the welcoming and family atmosphere of St. Andrew’s and endeavours to keep everyone organized. office@standrewsottawa.ca
kaitlyn
Web & Graphics Coordinator
Kaitlyn joined St. Andrew's in November of 2020. She has a background in graphic design, and greatly enjoys expressing her creativity in a variety of ways. The thing Kaitlyn enjoys most about St. Andrew’s is bringing everyone’s ideas to life for the website and other graphic applications. communications@standrewsottawa.ca
Ken
Audio-Visual Services
Ken moved to Ottawa in 1992 to attend the University of Ottawa for a music degree. Since then Ken has been in demand as a high-quality and experienced vocal soloist and choral singer, most recently as soloist and choir section leader at St. Andrew’s since 2018. In 2020, Ken was pleased to offer St. Andrew's his audio-visual and technological expertise, gained from working for the Government of Canada for over 20 years, to improve the quality of the live-streaming and recording of church worship services. Ken is responsible for technical support and operation of the audio-visual system in the sanctuary, training volunteers to help, and coordinating with groups who have audio-visual or other technical needs at the church.
James
Church Officer
James joined St. Andrew's in May 2008. He also works to maintain the effectiveness of the physical building, specializing in the needs for Sunday morning worship.
Sean
Church Officer
Sean came to St. Andrew's early 2016 and works hard to keep the church building clean and well maintained. Like James, he also accommodates groups that make use of the facilities.
Kirk Session
St. Andrew's is served by over 30 elders who comprise the Kirk Session. The elders serve the families within their districts and meet at monthly session meetings and take part in all aspects of life and service in the church.
