What does Christian Education look like at St. Andrew’s Church?
The Christian Education Mission:
To provide leadership in the education and development of
Christian studies in the church.
What We Do:
We meet regularly to organize, develop and promote church
activities through which our congregants can grow in faith and
their understanding of the Christian discipleship. We help different
age groups at St. Andrew’s to remain curious, open and inspired
about all aspects of our faith.
Our responsibilities include curriculum planning and development
as well as seasonal activities for the Church School. In addition,
we oversee other youth-specific programming such as Kids’
Church, Vacation Bible School and Youth Group. We also
organize the popular Wednesday evening studies, Theology on
Tap, the Women's Retreat, the Gracefield Retreat, the Book Club,
Film Night and the various traditions around Easter such as our
Pancake (Shrove Tuesday) Supper and Maundy Thursday dinner.
Who We Are:
A diverse group representing different demographics of the
church community, we are keen on discovering new ways of
learning and of enriching the faith of this church community.
Come join us in faith and learning.
