Living with Dementia?
We’re having a very special June and invite you to join us on
Thursday, June 13th and Wednesday, June 26th.

Please feel free to invite family and friends. All are welcome

Please join us on Thursday, June 13th on Zoom at 1:00 p.m. as we listen to Ali Chiarelli discussing “Dementia and Travelling”. Ali’s bio is included below and we think this is a very topical subject as summer is coming upon us and our thoughts may turn to some relaxing get-aways. We’ll be starting our session with the musical selection “Ramblin’ Man” by the Allman Brothers Band.

Ali’s Bio: Ali completed her Master of Science in Aging & Health through Queen’s University. Her desire to continue supporting older adults in the community led her to pursue her doctoral studies at the University of Ottawa and become a volunteer at the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County. She is a first-year doctoral student in the Population Health program. Ali aims to contribute to developing dementia-inclusive communities and raise awareness for the needs of people with dementia and their care partners. Her thesis will explore the needs and experiences of people with dementia and their care partners when travelling by air. We’ll enjoy a video of “Man In The Mirror” choreographed and danced by Michael Missios. Debbie‘s contact information: Email: dheitto@alzllg.ca - 343-630-1841.
